The Devil on her Shoulders

Hell and damnation! The Bruja is missing! When the most powerful witch alive disappears without a trace, Norah, her 17-year-old niece, decides to investigate. But upon entering her aunt’s manor, she interrupts a summoning ritual and finds herself face to face with the devil… Or half of him, anyway, as he has been cut in two and is now stuck in a pentagram. Unable to return to Hell without Norah’s help, Lucifer agrees to assist her in finding the Bruja—a devilish task when you’re the most feared and hated being on the planet!
Devil on Her Shoulders is a stunning graphic novel that tells the story of Norah, a young girl struggling to find her place in the world. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful, capturing the emotional depth of the story with stunning visuals that are both poignant and heartwarming.
One of the most remarkable things about Devil on Her Shoulders is how it explores the relationships between Norah and her aunts. The dynamics between them add depth and complexity to the story, which is relatable and thought-provoking. It’s a refreshing take on the often-stereotyped portrayal of aunts in popular media.
The plot takes unexpected turns that keep the reader engaged and invested in the characters. The way the story unfolds is both surprising and satisfying, leaving the reader feeling fulfilled and wanting more at the same time.
It’s worth noting, however, that the story includes some references to current popular things that might not age well over time. While it adds to the contemporary feel of the story, it also raises some concerns about how it will be perceived in the future.
That being said, Devil on Her Shoulders is still a stunning work of art that delivers on both the visual and narrative fronts. It’s a must-read for anyone who appreciates great storytelling, beautiful artwork, and complex relationships.
